REGULATIONS
To insure the safety and convenience of its guests, the Hotel Nongshim
establishes following regulations based on Article 11 of accommodation
agreement.
If you do not follow this regulation, we will refuse you to use all
equipmentin the hotel and charge you for all responsibility
in accordance with Article
12 of following regulation. Please give special attention !
The following
1. The use of appliances for heating, cooking, or ironing in the room,
as well as smoking in bed, is prohibited.
2. The room should not be used for purposes other than intended, without
the permission of hotel, such as sales activity, convention and party.
3. Any alteration of the room condition or moving of the furniture
in the room without the permission of the hotel is prohibited.
4. Gambling, immoral conduct, and activities which disturb other guests
are prohibited.
5. The advertisement and sales of commodities without the permission
of hotel are prohibited.
6. The following items are not permitted to the guest rooms :
a. Pets
b. Guns, knives, and flammable of combustible materials
c. Items emitting an unpleasant odor
d. Food or beverages from outside of the hotel
e. Other items whose possession is prohibited by law.
7. Unless there is a special request, unclaimed laundry items and lost
items will be held by the hotel for 1 week in the case of valuables,
8. months in the case of ordinary items, and will afterwards be dealt
with according to the law.
9. Payments should be made at the Front Cashier upon departure or
when requested by the hotel.
10. Safe deposit boxes are available free-of-charge at the Front Desk.
12. If you damage fixtures in the hotel, we can claim one and
a half times of purchasing price for compensation.
PROVISIONS GOVERNING ACCOMMODATION AGREEMENTS
Application of Provisions.
Article 1.
1. Accommodation contracts and related contracts entered into by
this hotel shall be in accordance with these provisions, and
particularly not provided for these provisions shall be made
in accordance with the law and customary practices.
2. This hotel will obey the provisions on reservation by credit card.
The details will follow the provisions made between credit
card agencies and the hotel.
3. Not with standing the foregoing provisions, this hotel may
enter into special agreement to the extent that they do not
go beyond the purpose of the provisions, law and customary
practices.
Rejection of Accommodation Requests.
Article 2.
This hotel may refuse to provide accommodation to the following
circumstances :
1) If the hotel is fully booked and room is not available.
2) If the accommodation requested does not meet these provisions.
3) If it is believed that the person desiring the accommodation may
use the accommodation in a manner contrary to that provided for
in the laws or the maintenance of public peace and good morals.
4) If the person is clearly detected as being afflicted with
an infections disease
5) If requested to bear a special burden, in regards to the
accommodation.
6) If the person seeking accommodation is known to be in possession
of illegal drugs or animals of any types.
7) If the hotel is incapable of providing the accommodation due
to natural calamities, damage to its facilities and other
unavoidable causes.
8) In case of possession or detection of a drug.
9) If the accommodation request runs counter to the regulations
stipulated in the laws of the Republic of Korea.
Identification of Name, etc.
Article 3.
In the case that the hotel has accepted a request for accommodation
(hereinafter called request for accommodation) the day
before occupancy,we may request that the person making the
reservation clarify the following particulars within a designated
period of time :
1) Name, sex, nationality and occupation of the person seeking
the accommodation.
2) Other particulars deemed to be necessary by the hotel.
Reservation Deposit.
Article 4.
1. Accepting any application of reservation will be guaranteed
upon payment of reservation deposit. However, reservation by
credit cards will be guaranteed without the deposit payment.
2. The deposit payment mentioned above will be charged as penalty
in case of infringing the contract described in article 5.
The money left after charging penalty will be refunded. However,
reservation by credit card company.
3. on any reservation or cancellation by credit cards,
this hotel will inform of application number, dates,
name and details of penalty.
Cancellation of Reservation.
Article 5.
1. When the person who hold a reservation cancels in part or
in whole the reservation made, the hotel will impose a penalty
charge in accordance with the following;But, Cancellation below
10% of group reservation(15 or more persons)
in 10 days advance is guaranteed no penalty charge.
Cancellation of reservation that is made less than 10 days
before the check-in date must be done on the day it is made,
to avoid penalty.
1) Ordinary Guests
©ç 2 days before the check-in date : No penalty.
©è 1 day before the check-in date : 20% of 1 st night charge.
©é Before 18:00 on the check-in date : 50% of 1 st night charge.
©ê After 18:00 on the check-in date or failure to check-in 100%
f 1 st night charge.
2) Group Guests (15 or more)
©ç 5 days before the check-in date : No penalty.
©è Between 2 days and 4 days before the check-in date :
20% of 1 st night charge per room.
No penalty to bo charged to cancellation below 10%
of group reservation.
©é 1 day before the check-in date : 30% of 1 st night charge
per room to be taken.
©ê Before 18:00 on the check-in date : 50% of 1 st night charge
per room to be taken.
©ë After 18:00 on the check-in date or failure to check-in 100% or
1 st night charge per room to be taken. Remaining reservation
to be automatically cancelled.
Cancellation of Reservation.
Article 6.
1. The Hotel may cancel reservations for accommodation under following
circumstances :
1) If any paragraph from 2 to 8 of Article 2 applies.
2) If clarification of the particulars in Article 3 has been requested
but not clearly stated within the designated period.
3) If payment of the reservation deposit as stipulated in paragraph 1
of Article 4 has been requested but not received within
the designated period.
2. In the case that the hotel bas cancelled the reservation for
accommodation in accordance with the foregoing paragraph it shall
refund any deposit received for the reservation.
Check-Out Time.
Article 8.
1. The hour to vacate the room (check-out time) shall be 12:00 noon.
2. In spite of above stipulation, the Hotel may agree to the use
of the roombeyond the check-out-time.
In such a case, there sill be an additional charge as following :
1) Until 3:00 P.M : 30% of room charge (Rack rate).
2) Until 5:00 P.M : 50% of room charge (Rack rate).
3) After 5:00 P.M : 100% of room charge (Rack rate).
Business Hours, Etc.
Article 9.
The business hours of the facilities in the hotel are listed in
a separate sheet.
Payment of Bills.
Article 10.
1. Payment of bills should be made in cash, or with traveler's
checks or credit cards approved by the hotel, at the Front
desk before departure or when requested by the hotel.
2. After checking in, the guest will be charged for each day until
check-out date, even when guests stay out of their room
but have room occupied with luggage
Observance of Rules.
Article 11.
Guests are requested to follow the rules which are established
by the hotel and posted within the hotel.
Rejection of Continued Occupancy.
Article 12.
The hotel may reject the continued occupancy of the room,
even during occupancy,in the following circumstances :
1. If any paragraph from 2 to 8 of Article 2 applies.
2. If the guest does not follow the hotel regulations.
Responsibilities on Accommodation.
Article 13.
1. The responsibility of the hotel concerning accommodation
starts from the time the guest registers at the front desk or
when he enters his room, and terminates at the time
he leaves his room to depart.
2. The hotel cannot accept responsibility for any accident
arisen out of the guest's failure to observe the rules
of the hotel.
3. This hotel is taking a full responsibility to reward
100% of 1st night charge to applicants and search for
other hotels, in case of hotel's, failure to provide
the rooms that have been reserved.
